Turk

Hey, for those of you that know, and well if you're reading this for those of you that don't.  My bestest buddy in the world past away today.  Turk was our beloved dog who was wtih us for 7 years.  Due to lung cancer that spread very rapidly thruogh his body he was put to sleep and taken out of his misery.  Unfortuantely I couldn't be home for this, and alas it would be inhumane to wait until I got home.

I'm still kind of in shock, the best friend I ever had, gone?  Wow.

Love ya Turk

Hey Jon,

"Sorry to hear" even begin to cover it. I've been there after losing a pet of 11 years (who also had cancer), and it's just as hard as losing a person that you're close to. While Dan and Pat's circumstances were slightly different, I'm sure that they agree 100% as well.

I know that it seems like the man upstairs is against you for not allowing you to see Turk in his final days, but speaking from experience, the final days/hours are the worst. However, the images that will be burned in your mind forever will be those of Turk running around the pool (and dragging you around the pool!), putting that huge dent in the couch every time he sat on it, and always being chipper every minute you were home. In a situation that seems to be the worst, that one thing is indeed something to be thankful for.

RIP Turk
